Greenko group mulling to acquire RInfra’s Mumbai distribution business

The Greenko group is in talks with Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) to acquire the latter’s electricity distribution business in Mumbai for Rs 100 billion-Rs 130 billion. RInfra has been making concerted efforts to exit capex-intensive businesses and has thus been negotiating with several firms in this regard. The CLP Group is, reportedly, another contender for the acquisition.
